Tori Jensen
Owner | Theatre Director | Choreographer | Violin Instructor
Meet Tori.
I have 4 beautiful kids, a wonderful husband; and have lived in Mountain Home, ID for six years. I have had a passion for music and performing arts all my life. I started dancing at age three, danced lots of fun places, and competed up until my late teenage years. Singing has always brought me peace, joy, and meaning in life. At age nine, I started to play the violin, and my love for music grew even more. I continued playing violin and grew my vocal skills through private voice lessons. As I entered junior high, I tried out for my first musical and have been involved in performing arts ever since. In my senior year, I had a chance to help direct and choreograph a modern take on a Shakespeare Production. I knew then that not only did I love being on stage, I loved helping people learn. In my adult years, I have been involved in many church choirs. As I moved to Mountain Home, I got a chance to be involved in the Community Choir, which later developed into full productions. I wanted my kids to develop that love and joy for music and performing arts. I got them involved in theatre and music lessons at Wakefield Music and Performing Arts. I was given the amazing opportunity to help direct, choreograph, and manage the children's productions. I had always thought my life would take a much different career path, but years of little steps and nudges led me to where I was supposed to be. I got a call that I felt was already coming. It was the owner of Wakefield Music and Performing Arts. She was calling to tell me she was moving and would no longer be able to maintain the business. She offered me the chance to take it over as my own business. It was an instant and overwhelming yes! So, in June of 2023, Idahome Music and Performing Arts officially opened. Music and performing arts are not offered in many schools, let alone in a small community like ours. I have developed a passion for helping and giving kids a safe, fun, and nurturing place to come and learn. Here, they can develop their own unique talents, ask questions, gain self-confidence, find lasting friendships, learn from teachers and friends; and keep these skills for a lifetime. I'm so grateful to be able to keep this running and serve this small community of ours.
Tanner Sayer
Office Assistant | Light and Sound Technician | Graphics and Social Media
Meet Tanner.
I have been working here at Idahome Music and Performing Arts since June 1st, 2023. I originally started as a Light and Sound Technician for Wakefield Music and Performing Arts and continued that position and added Office Assistant when the business transferred over to Idahome Music and Performing Arts. In my free time I enjoy volunteering with the Mountain Home Police Department for community events, riding my bike, and doing graphic design. My goal is to pursue a career in law enforcement starting as a standard patrol officer and eventually get into cybersecurity and computer forensics.
